1. Linear Income: The first way we will look at is by making a linear income. Having a job or working in a business setting brings money after you must have worked. In other words, you earn as you work. It is the most common route many people take, but it is the most tedious and least productive of the three we will discuss on how to make money. It is because cash enslaves you. It compels you to work very hard to get paid in a proportion usually much less than the amount of work you put in. To avoid going poor, the person that chooses this route will have to work for all the days of his life and hope to one day retire with a meagre pension.

2. Residual Income: Here, money is earned through a source that continuously generates income, even when extra work is not done. You continue to earn even while you sleep. Fewer people choose this because of the initial effort needed to set up a profitable system that will keep generating cash. But in the long run, this system becomes far more rewarding than working around the clock to earn some money. Those who choose this way of making money become very successful business people.

3. Leverage Income: The third way to make money is by leveraging your income. This way, you multiply the amount you earn through a system that engages others to achieve for you while earning for themselves. Fewer people choose this route of making money because it requires even more effort to establish the initial system that generates earnings. But a leveraged income is the most efficient way of making money to work for you. The wealthiest men in the world will always go for a system that ensures that their income is substantially leveraged.

To set off on any of the paths mentioned above, you can choose to do one of the following:

  • You can get a 9 – 5 job or establish a one-person business that will give you money only when you work hard at it.
  • You can join a network marketing business to secure a source of residual income. A multi-level marketing system further provides you with a leveraged income.

Of course, many people will choose the much easier way to apply and get a job that brings some money at the end of the month. Only a few will take the option of working towards establishing a system that will pay them continually.

It is the reason there is a disproportionate number of rich with poor people, but there is always room at the top.
