Decreased sperm production: Impaired sperm production may be hereditary or acquired throughout life. Undescended testicles can be responsible for a limited formation of healthy sperms.

Hormonal causes: Chromosomal abnormalities such as Klinefelter's syndrome, that is, men with another X sex chromosome and XY sex chromosomes, may be affected. It is because not enough male hormones are released. 

 Testicular malfunction: when there is an issue with the testicle, it cannot produce sperm. Or other testicular infections at a young age can harm sperm production.

Inflammation: injury or inflammation can lead to the separation of the testicle from the bloodstream, and antibodies against their sperm are formed, making this unsuitable for operation.
