Offline Marketing Strategy

An offline marketing strategy is one proven way to promote your website if you lack internet marketing skills and have little budget for paid adverts.

The strategy I will share with you will work for many upcoming small entrepreneurs. Most run their businesses with little capital and may not be enthusiastic about paid advert because it does not guarantee clients.
They must devise alternative marketing strategies to inform the targeted audience of their website.
My prescribed marketing ideas for small business to promote their website offline are business cards and flyers. These strategies are one of the cheapest to promote your business offline.
These forms of advert are affordable to small upcoming entrepreneurs. They are essential business tools for sharing information about your product(s) and service(s).

Marketing strategy to share your flyers and business cards

Add Your Website: The first step is to include relevant links to your website on your business cards and flyers.

Provide Great Customer Service: The best marketing strategy is to motivate clients to be interested in visiting your website. And get more information on your products and services. It is to provide excellent customer service.

With superior customer service, your present clients will be delighted to visit your website and refer others to it.

How can you achieve excellent customer service? What is happening in your business must be pleasing to your clients.

These include the quality of your product and service, business environment, pricing and other factors that give you a competitive edge.

That way, your clients will perceive you as the best in your industry. So evaluate what happens in your business to see if they are good enough to keep your clients delighted.

Inform Circle of Friends to Visit and Pass Information about Your Website: The marketing strategy is to give your flyers and business cards to your friends and extended family. And encourage them to visit your website and share the information with their friends.

It is a practical approach when you consider that people like to do business with people they know and want. This approach will help you build customer and brand loyalty among acquaintances and significantly increase sales.

The relationship you have built with family, friends and neighbours will give you a competitive edge over your competitors.

Contact Businesses That Complement Your Product and Service: A new offline marketing strategy is to contact businesses that complement what you do. Discuss the possibility of the two companies exchanging flyers.

It works for them to share your flyers with their customers, and you share their business flyers with your customers. It’s a win-win deal.

As you go about your daily activities, start taking note of businesses that don’t compete with you but complement your product and service.

For example, a fashion boutique store specializing in selling suits may exchange flyers with stores selling shirts and shoes.

Join the Association of People That Are Likely to Patronize Your Business: You can join social and charity organizations and be active.

That way, you have regular contacts with people you can share your complimentary cards. And are likely to visit your website, patronize your business and refer others to it.

Examples of such organizations are the Ikeja, Eko, and Ikoyi club.

Target Potential Customers

Target potential customers rather than wasting flyers by sharing them indiscriminately with everybody on the street who may not require your product or services.

The marketing strategy of sharing your flyers will depend on your product or service—research your potential customers to determine where you share your flyers.

For instance, if you specialize in sewing uniforms, sharing your flyers in schools and among nurses in hospitals is appropriate. The chances are high that many of them will visit your website and get more information on your business.
