What is German measles?

  • Medications: Acetaminophen drugs are usually prescribed to help relieve the symptoms of German measles. Infected women can also be treated with hyperimmune globulin. It will boost immunity against the virus and clear it from their bloodstream, thereby reducing the risk of passing on the disease to the foetus during pregnancy.
  • Bed rest: Adults and teenagers suffering from cases with mild symptoms are advised to have a good best rest. It will help the body gradually recover as the immune system clears the virus.
